CANADIAN JOB EXPERIENCE-
SKILL EMPLOYABILITY PROGRAM

Moving to Canada, obviously you must have done a lot of research so far about finding a job in Canada. One of the biggest problem is to find the right job for yourself. You must have read enough and more stories in various forums that most immigrants are unable to find a suitable job in Canada because they have zero Canadian experience.

Now this is a chicken and egg situation....which came first?

You cannot get a Canadian job experience unless you work in Canada and you cannot get a job without a Canadian experience.

Most new immigrants don’t even reach the interview stage as they get short down when they write “NO” in Canadian work experience column or get rejected even after the interview with the reason “over qualified” for the job. All this is because they lack Canadian job experience. We at ICA Council, can help you guide on how and where to gain Canadian experience in various fields such as IT, accounting, finance, Insurance, hospitality, sales, marketing and many more

We bring in new Indian immigrants and established Indian business houses and companies that are owned by people of Indian origin in Canada together. It helps these successful Indians to give it back to the community. It is a prime responsibility of all of us jointly to create employability and support the welfare of Canadian economy.

We urge every member to voluntarily help and assist other members from our member directory. We provide you all to connect with each other and bridge the gap. This will help all of us to come together and create employability and a healthy atmosphere around us. We proclaim our mission of creating jobs across Canada and making jobseekers employable by the Canadian employers. There is a tiny gap among what the employers expect and what the aspirant showcase. Our aim is to try to build the gaps. We would regularly announce our training sessions which will be announced at various locations in Canada. These training sessions will help the aspirants seek the skill sets and knowledge required for seeking jobs.

There are ample of non-profit organizations that work actively in the region of Canada who help immigrants gain Canadian work experience. They provide classroom training followed by hands-on training on the platforms and technologies / areas in your field. This helps you to gauge the work culture, work ethics and the environment that a Canadian company owns. Canadian companies inherit ethics and equal opportunities for all communities and race. These organizations will help you understand and inherit these qualities.

We at ICA Council organize FREE Webinars which help you gain knowledge and details on the Canadian Job Experience- Skill Employability Program. We will help you seek options where an aspirant can apply gather skills and knowledge required to seek a Canadian job. Our role will be an advisory role where we provide you FREE guidance on how to seek Canadian job experience and we will continue to promote employability.
